...and there is only one thing we say to death--not today.
Team #NotToday is a group of runners and walkers who have joined together in the fight against brain cancer. Since 2014, we have attended the Little Rock Marathon each year to talk to the community about Glioblastoma Multiforme and other brain cancers. Leading up to the event, we select a different brain cancer patient in Arkansas to honor and share his/her unique experience. To date, Team #NotToday has raised over $200,000 for brain cancer research and honored four Arkansans.
By joining our Facebook group, you can represent Team #NotToday at the Little Rock Marathon. Each year, leading up to the event, we use social media to share “why we run." This helps us raise tax-deductible donations that support Duke’s cutting-edge trials. On race day, we wear shirts with cancer facts and bright yellow headbands to share our message with the thousands of runners and walkers at the event. Afterwards, we celebrate our fundraising and running accomplishments with a pizza party and official check signing ceremony.
We are so proud of the community we have created and would love to see it grow with your help. Thank you!
Jill
